Hello everyone , and welcome to the new …
Perhaps this unusual item , as it will be dedicated to a photography enthusiast who is among my contacts on Facebook ; In fact, I asked him if I could write this article because I am just fascinated by his skill.
It ‘ a brilliant builder and I would say against the current, and in addition to other cameras designed and built , I saw this , which in my opinion is truly original ; In fact, I do not have news of something like this … if any of you is not the original , please tell me in my facebook page ( http://www.facebook.com/fotografismo.it ) .
This camera , called by René Smets ” BackToBasic ” , is made from a single piece of solid wood, carved on a lathe , and then on the cusp equipped with a pinhole lens .
The photosensitive part is a circle of glass 2 mm. thick and 18 cm. in diameter, which Rene works by itself, or alternatively a square format 10×10 cm.
Also interesting is the voucher system in square format , made with a wooden roller shutter system .
Another gem the fixing system to the stand or on a flat surface , made with a flat base in wood and adapted to receive the cone on the upper part ; Fixing is via small magnets.
Finally you can see in the pictures a little cone that acts as a shutter of the pinhole , and finally a wooden bag to hold all of the camera …
I have to congratulate René Smets , you can follow me on Facebook here .
Now I leave you with the picture of this little gem analog …
